Mark Capehart was born in Dallas with roots in both North Texas and the Gulf Coast Region. A lifelong Texan, husband, father of five and an avid student of God’s Word, Mark and his wife, Trula, of nearly 25 years have actively served in leadership roles in both youth and adult bible teaching programs as well as worship music ministry. Mark enjoys cooking, writing, making music, woodworking and traveling. His intimate walk with the Lord and experience on the ministry front lines over the course of the last two decades has afforded him a unique perspective and insight into the world of postmodern Christianity. Liberated by a most revealing discovery, captured and penned in his first ever published work, “...the end thereof… : The Church and the Gospel of Deception” hails as the synthesis and hallmark of his life’s mission and calling.
"In my quest to understand the disconnect that exists between genuine experience and the academic knowledge of those in power, the liberating truth that would forever demystify this enigma has finally emerged.
Therefore, it is out of a profound sense of obligation and grave concern for the apparent lack of discernment in the Church of this era, that the call to action, elicited in this bold and daring declaration, is deemed fitting and justifiably necessary.
Emboldened to valiantly contend for the truth upon which misapprehended doctrine has wreaked such havoc, a fervent longing for the Church's re-awakened identity amidst a purely wicked generation impels my spirit and the voice of my pen to action".
